Founding Member
Dan Quintero is a technology entrepreneur and executive with a demonstrated history of execution in Silicon Valley. In the last ten years, Dan helped raise over $80 million in venture capital and participated in exits to JPMorgan Chase, TellApart, and Twitter for amounts exceeding half a billion dollars.
Dan was a founding member of the growth team at Bloomspot, where he built the team, processes, and optimization platform that took the company from 20,000 to two million subscribers in its first year. The
systems he put into place allowed Bloomspot to acquire high-value customers at scale and positioned Bloomspot as the third-largest local commerce platform in the country. With Dan’s help, Bloomspot
out-performed substantially larger competitors by becoming the first platform to accurately quantify and forecast customer lifetime value for local merchants. Dan was intimately involved in bringing the company through two rounds of venture-backed funding before an exit to JPMorgan Chase.
After Bloomspot, Dan co-founded AdStack, a real-time email optimization platform backed by Harrison Metal that allowed for the dynamic modification of email content after send. As COO, Dan led business and product functions, shaping the direction of the technology stack, features, and go-to-market strategy. Dan led the company to profitability in less than a year, and AdStack was subsequently acquired by TellApart.
After the acquisition, Dan joined the TellApart team, where he initially focused on integrating and launching the core functionality of the AdStack platform. Dan went on to lead partner integration efforts, generating and managing over $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Twitter acquired TellApart in 2016, where
Dan went on to lead global go-to-market initiatives and was responsible for launching direct response programs globally among Twitter advertisers.
Before working in technology, Dan was an econometric consultant at the globally top-ranked consulting firm Cornerstone Research and continues to be relied on as a valuation expert in front-page commercial litigation. Dan attended the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, where he was an Edgar F. Kaiser Scholar and completed his studies in the top 3% of his class.
At Diode, Dan leverages his quantitative background and experience scaling businesses to exit to help lead due diligence efforts and advise portfolio companies on growth and operations post-investment.
